Overseer Micael Lewis, an ordained minister for over 25 years, is the pastor of the Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic), 20 South Camp Road, Kingston. He also serves as the Central District Overseer and is a member of the organization’s National Ministerial Council.

Rev Lewis is a dynamic preacher and an anointed teacher of the Word of God. He has travelled to several countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Cayman Islands and Trinidad and Tobago, preaching and teaching the gospel. He is the author of the book ‘Empowered through Spiritual Gifts’.

A teacher by profession, he holds the position of vice-principal at the Excelsior High School in Kingston, and lectures psychology and education courses to teachers and guidance counsellors in training at the International University of the Caribbean (IUC). Apart from his theological training in biblical studies received at the Jamaica Apostolic Bible Institute (JABI), Rev. Lewis holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology, a Bachelor of Arts Degree (with honours) in Guidance and Counselling, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Training and a Masters in Education from the Mount Saint Vincent University (Canada). He is presently pursuing a doctorate in education.

Rev Lewis is partnered in ministry with his lovely wife Monique. Their union as produced a beautiful daughter, Micalann, and an energetic son, Matthew Judah.
